You are among the first people to explore Kents Cavern without a guide in over 120 years.
Whilst you are inside the cave, please remember that this is a natural environment with Scheduled Ancient Monument and Site of Special Scientific Interest status’.
We ask that you respect the cave by not eating, drinking, smoking or vaping whilst inside.
You must stay on the footpath at all times and do not climb on the rocks.
Our cave guides are stationed throughout the cave to answer any questions you might have.
Should the main lights go off and emergency lighting come on, this is a signal that we need to evacuate the cave. Please stay in your position and a staff member will be with you shortly to explain where to go. Please use any torches you have for extra light and ensure that any babies are removed from buggies and carried out of the cave.
